Pricing questions
One Kubernetes Deployment or StatefulSet with an active Kubestead RolloutPolicy. Paused or deleted rollout policies don't count.
The cluster-side controller is Apache 2.0 open source — it always runs in your own cluster. Cloud plans add the managed Kubestead UI, cross-cluster rollout history, and metric aggregation dashboards. If you want to run the full stack on-premises without the Kubestead cloud, that configuration is available on the Platform plan.
