Pricing questions
A microservice is any Kubernetes Deployment managed by a Kubestead Rollout resource. Each distinct Rollout CRD counts as one microservice toward your tier limit. StatefulSets, DaemonSets, and resources not wrapped in a Rollout resource do not count.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; you are billed a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. There is no penalty for switching.
You will receive an email warning when you reach 80% of your tier limit. At 100%, new Rollout resources beyond the cap will be created in a Paused state — they won't actively roll out until you upgrade. Existing rollouts continue without interruption.
